I’d like to throw a huge shoutout to Mr. Karl Lippisch for tearing it up at XTerra Hawaii. Guys this is the real deal. World championships, no posers, all qualifiers! Karl took 6 th overall amateur and third in the hardest (30-34) age group. Way to go man. Great end to a stellar season.
Let’s all put in a good lon base period of training this winter and come back stronger next year.
Anyone else doing the LV marathon. I am 100 % in. It would be sweet to get a group together for it as a end-of-year send off. Dec is over a month away. Think about it.
Also, congrats to Dominic. Dude you have come so far in only a years time. I’m proud of you man, good luck in 12 hours of Temecula coming up soon. However it turns out, you’ve inspired us all to push it the limit now, while we can. Happy Birthday too dude, keep on trucking the best years are yet to come! Thanks for sponsoring us this year it has meant a lot.

Mike,
Congratulations on getting second for the whole Tri Utah series! It’s amazing to place that way even after missing one of the races! I’m so glad Kokopelli was resurrected. That’s a cool race. I loved swimming over those sandstone mountains and big black abyss drop offs.
Scott,
Good luck this weekend for the series title! You’ve had a terrific season! I tried to find your number to call you, and Nikki even gave it to me, but I lost it. So anyway, have a great race on Saturday. I, unfortunately can’t be there because we are sponsoring two events at the same time. Jared will be there and I will be at the LVRT Run, but I’m sure you’ll do great as always! Speaking of that, it was fun seeing you at the Mt. Charleston hill climb for a few seconds until you went out of sight. What a great event that was. And thanks to Nikki for making the burgers at the top! Once a tour guide, always a tour guide, I guess.
Nina,
Good luck in Soma. That’s a biggie! From your 70.3 track record, I’m sure you’ll do great! I miss mountain biking with you. Now that it’s cooler, we’ll have to get back into a routine. Maybe after Soma?
Brandon,
Did you enjoy the two back to back California races in a row? You’re crazy!

In an Olympic distance race with over 1300 participants, T3’s Mike Olsen showed up and beat 1295 of them! Taking 5th overall and 1st in his age group Mike showed that even with a season of nagging injuries, that some disciplined training, rest and desire can overcome anything. By the way Mike’s olympic distance time was a sub 2hr…1:59. Stong work Mike. We’re all proud!
By the way this race sells out every year and is a huge event. Maybe we should consider this one next year!

100 miles on a Mt. Bike is impressive enough, but 100 miles at Brian Heads altitude and all of the horrific climbing (that Scott loves of course)….Thats impressive. Last weekends Epic 100 was a great race, great weather and the T3/LVC Team got to show their new colors. Scott Gray did us proud by winning the race, Overall..In a time of 8:11. Nice work Scott!
Congrats also go to Karl Lippisch for his Epic 100 finish and Chris Gray for his Titanium 50 podium in 2nd Place for 25-29.

Jared and Heather are studs!
They went to Alaska with the official full Fisher Family Entourage; lost their luggage; slept outside; rode really long races in pouring cold rain; flew back from Alaska; and lost their luggage……again!
Jared rode for 27 hours straight for over 400 miles (half of which was in Alaska’s “liquid sunshine” and climbed more elevation than Mt. Everest (despite body parts shutting down on him….).
Heather went for over 200 miles in the same conditions and get this…….she pulled all three Fisher boys in a trailer behind her (OK, a wee bit of embellishment here) what a stud!
Seriously though: If you have a chance to pat them on the back for a job well done, it’s safe to say they earned it!

It is Summertime, its hot and almost OUR, “off season” as far as local races go. There are several events that I would like the team to think about being involved with. The following events have at least one of us signed up right now. Lets get some dialogue going. I also would like to have some feedback on a TEAM TRIP at the end of the season. Catalina Tri is always a good one. Sprint on Catalina Is. in Nov. on Saturday. What more could you want?
Tour De Gap
Notch Run
Las Vegas Tri x 2
Pumpkinman Club Nationals
Lake Mead Tri, Mt. Man
Camp Pendelton Sprint tri
Kokopelli Tri, Utah
Catalina
Take look at these and Lets get the Team thing growing. T3!!!

Look out for the next generation T3. Mike Olson’s 9 year old kid just won his first triathlon against a bunch of 9-15 year olds! Mike’s fast, it’s true, but riding with Brenda lately makes me think that she has something to do with it, too. Nobody else has a chance against anyone from that gene pool. He’s not invited to any races Orion does.
